Fay is a caring and compassionate psychologist who is trained in delivering a range of evidence-based psychological therapies. She enjoys tailoring sessions to each client, considering their interests, values, preferences, goals, and strengths; and she views therapy as a collaborative process where she and her client/s are working as a team.

In terms of therapies, she draws primarily from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She is currently training to become a credentialed eating disorder clinician (CEDC).

Fay also has a special interest in creative and polyvagal-informed therapies, and will sometimes integrate these into sessions, when desired by her clients. Her main aim is for her clients to feel comfortable, understood, and supported so that they can heal and make positive changes that enhance their wellbeing.

Fay has worked within several community mental-health settings with children, families, and adults. She has experience in working with a wide range of issues including trauma, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, anger management, and interpersonal difficulties.

Fay is a nationally registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
