What makes us different
We believe the mind and the body are not two separate entities. Physical health and emotional health are intimately intertwined — the mind-body connection.
For this reason, our psychologists can collaborate with our highly experienced in-house dietitian when nutrition or health factors are influencing your mental wellbeing.
Most of our Clinicians hold an ANZAED Eating Disorders Credential
Why this matters.
Why do we have an in-house Dietitian at our practice?
Having a multi-disciplinary, face-to-face team approach to metal heath and nutritional wellbeing allows care to remain coordinated, consistent, and centred on your therapeutic goals — without the need for external often fragmented support - which is crucial if you are on an eating disorders recovery journey.
Our work is led by Founding Director & Clinical Psychologist Anna Bednarek, whose approach brings together clinical expertise with deep compassion for the complexity of people’s lives. Anna guides the therapeutic direction of the practice and supports a compassionate, considered & exceptional standard of care across all our services.
When nutrition or physical wellbeing are part of a person’s mental health journey, Anna and the team can call on our experienced in-house dietitian, Dr Susan Hart. Who brings with her over 25 years of experience to the practice and who is respected by her peers in the industry as a leader in Women’s health and eating disorders recovery.
